Following the success of the CIGOS 2010: “High-rise Buildings and Underground Structures” and the CIGOS 2013: “Construction and Sustainable Development”, GCMM collaborates with AVSE to organize the CIGOS 2015: “Innovations in Construction”. The aims of CIGOS 2015 conference are:
+ to bring together leading French and Vietnamese scientists, researchers, research scholars and engineers to share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Material Engineering,
+ to provide a forum for French and Vietnamese scientists, researchers, research scholars and engineers to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Material Engineering,
+ to strengthen the relationship between French and Vietnamese companies in terms of investment, technology transfer, expertise and outsourcing,
+ to promote France and Vietnam's cooperation on higher education and research, such as exchanges and training courses for engineers.
The organizing committee plans to host 150 to 200 scientists, experts and engineers French & Vietnamese in the field of construction, including 15-20% of speakers from Vietnam. About 60 quality presentations will be selected issues of Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Material Engineering. These presentations will be considered as conference guests (officials, scientists and French and Vietnamese experts) and those collected by "call for papers".
Schools of engineering, research centers in France and Vietnam as well as French and Vietnamese companies will be important participants who contribute to the success of the conference.
